CBIP certification has three exams which a candidate must pass before becoming certified: the Data Foundations exam, Business Core or Information Systems Core exam, and one specialty area exam. The business analytics, data integration, data analysis and design, and leadership and management are all considered specialty areas. The 110 question multiple choices exams should be done in 90 minutes.
Eligibility-wise, TDWI suggests a bachelor or master degree in computer science, information technology or any other related discipline with two or more years of professional experience in data analytics or other types of application development.
