What if the result is different?
Sensitivity scenarios, not probabilities.

Exactly what this calculator measures
This is a forward-looking what-if model. It does not use verified employer salary surveys, predict offers, or model take-home pay.
How are the paths calculated?
Before the selected switch month, both paths follow your baseline annual CTC growth. At the first full month after switching, the model applies your one-time salary adjustment; the switched path then compounds at your chosen post-switch annual rate. Each annual CTC is divided by 12 for the monthly gross comparison.
What do incremental earnings and payback mean?
Monthly gross differences are summed across the selected period. Net difference subtracts only the one-time cost you entered. Payback is the first month in which cumulative positive incremental gross earnings cover that cost. If the condition is not met, no payback is shown.
Are these salary forecasts, benchmark salaries or financial advice?
No. There are no market salary predictions, no taxes, no inflation adjustment, and no assumed job offer. Changing one input can substantially alter the output. Real earnings depend on role, city, experience, employer, skills, demand and career breaks.
