Is this an official Microsoft Power BI certification?
No. This is a short knowledge check, not the Microsoft PL-300 exam, an official credential, or evidence of workplace proficiency.
Do I need Power BI Desktop installed?
No. The multiple-choice test runs in any modern browser. For the optional practical project, Power BI Desktop may be useful.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes. Each attempt selects 24 questions from a 48-question bank. Because the test is short and sampled, small score differences may not reflect a real change in skill.
