Software testing is about demonstrating, with evidence, that an application does what customers, vendors and the business expect, and catching problems before they spoil an event or cost money. Imagine a destination-wedding marketplace in Udaipur. A tester checks that a venue cannot be booked for more guests than its capacity, that a hotel room block is held until the agreed cut-off date and released only after it, that vendor advances follow the contract percentage, that a cancellation 90 days out refunds more than one made 15 days out, that two events cannot book the same palace courtyard on the same evening, and that the platform keeps working in the peak season when hundreds of families finalise guest lists.
The work follows a method. Decide which failures would hurt families, vendors or the platform most. Write test cases clearly enough for anyone to repeat. Run them manually or with automation. If one fails, save the screenshot, data and steps, and test again once fixed. It is carried out at four levels — unit, integration, system and acceptance — and an events marketplace also needs load testing for the peak season, security checks on payments and testing on phones. On Agile projects, testing happens inside every sprint and regression checks fire automatically on each merge.

What does a software tester (QA engineer) do?
In an Ahmedabad services firm, a Gurugram travel-tech company or a remote team, a tester's week often includes going through user stories with product owners, writing scenarios and test data, checking each build, logging Jira defects with screenshots and verifying fixes. Testers who automate also look after Selenium or Playwright suites, add API tests and investigate failing Jenkins runs. Booking platforms add peak-load and mobile checks.

06 · Syllabus
Software testing course syllabus in Udaipur
The 165 hours are split into thirteen modules ordered as a tester's job grows: manual testing, SQL, UI automation, API testing, AI support and CI. No module ends on theory; a lab closes each one, and the thirteenth hands you the whole marketplace.
01Software Testing Fundamentals & SDLC/STLC10 hrs
The first lesson starts with a wedding-week disaster. Eighty guests from Mumbai reach a lakeside hotel and find their rooms already sold, because the platform released the room block at midnight on the cut-off date instead of at the end of it, and nobody had tested the time boundary. That disaster opens the course: why we test, the seven principles of testing, how an off-by-one time check grows into stranded guests, how Waterfall, V-Model and Agile projects differ, and how STLC phases relate to unit, integration, system and acceptance testing.
02Manual Testing, Test Cases & Bug Reporting12 hrs
Module 2 is a design workshop built on the booking and payment screens. Guest counts, room-block cut-off dates and advance percentages give boundaries; vendor categories (decor, catering, photography, music), event types and customer locations form equivalence classes; refund, date-change and penalty conditions are tabulated as a decision table; and the life of a booking from enquiry to quoted, confirmed, advance paid, milestones paid, completed or cancelled becomes a state diagram. Then come exploratory charters, smoke and sanity checks and regression loops, and each defect is tagged with severity and priority.
03Agile, Scrum & Test Management8 hrs
Module 3 follows a travel start-up's Scrum cycle: planning at the start, quick daily syncs, a demo for the operations manager, and a retro, and no story is closed until its acceptance criteria pass. You configure Jira for the marketplace (board, workflow, filters, dashboard) and write a test plan that puts availability and money first.
04SQL & Database Testing10 hrs
SQL on customers, venues, vendors, bookings and payments. Table design and constraints first, then selecting, sorting, grouping, joining and nesting queries, used to create realistic season data or to prove that no venue was ever double-booked for one evening.
05Programming Fundamentals with Python or Java15 hrs
Module 5 begins coding for absolute beginners in Python or Java: variables, if-else, loops, functions, objects, inheritance and error handling. Its final task is a utility that loads venue and booking files in spreadsheet or JSON form, letting a single test sweep the whole season.
Selenium WebDriver on the vendor dashboard: locating elements by ID, CSS or XPath, explicit waits, pop-ups, frames and new windows, date pickers and long payment tables, grouped into PyTest or TestNG suites for different browsers.
07Playwright Automation with JavaScript/TypeScript15 hrs
Module 7 starts with enough TypeScript to be useful and then teaches Playwright: locators based on roles and visible text, assertions that wait automatically, fixtures, a saved login, a payment gateway forced to fail, contract and photo uploads, parallel runs and debugging with traces.
08API Testing with Postman & REST APIs12 hrs
The marketplace uses REST APIs. You learn how requests and responses work, methods, endpoints, headers, status codes and JSON, and test them in Postman with collections, environments, token login and schema checks.
09API Automation & Integration Testing12 hrs
Module 9 rewrites those requests as test code: every response asserted, a booking ID passed from quote to payment to vendor-payout calls, automatic token refresh and data read from files. An end-to-end test sends a booking through the API, a mocked payment gateway and the database, and runs with the UI tests.
10GenAI for Test Case Generation & Test Data10 hrs
The platform launches a monsoon discount for off-season weddings, so you bring in Gen AI to help. The model drafts situations, odd cases and imaginary bookings, and you then mark what it missed or got wrong, and learn why families' names, phone numbers and payment details must never be shared with a public AI tool.
11AI-Assisted Automation, Debugging & Test Maintenance12 hrs
In Module 11 ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot sit beside you: Copilot fills in test methods, ChatGPT unpacks confusing errors and inherited code, and both suggest steadier selectors. Nothing reaches the repository until you have executed it and can explain it.
12Framework Design, Git, CI/CD & Test Reporting14 hrs
Module 12 restructures the scripts into a framework, with a page-object layer, data held outside the code, reviewed merges, a Jenkins job per commit and Allure summaries for the operations team.
13End-to-End Testing Project & Capstone20 hrs
Capstone. The marketplace is yours to certify: you draw up its plan, execute every case, script the family and vendor screens plus the APIs, and make each GitHub push start a Jenkins build. The final sessions focus on getting hired: an improved CV and LinkedIn profile, a brief demo of your projects and practice panels.

Mock interviews run by trainers, each closed with written notes on what to fix.
Opportunity sharing
Openings from more than 850 partner companies in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Gurugram and remote teams, shared the day they arrive.
Continued support
Support carries on after the last class if you stay in touch; the job offer itself is never guaranteed.
How Udaipur learners attend
Rohit coordinates guest logistics for a wedding planner in Fatehpura, so his days are unpredictable. He chose the 9 p.m. weekday batch, joining from home in Hiran Magri Sector 5, and sits in the same live class as learners in Noida. When his room-block test fails one evening, he shares his screen and the trainer fixes it while the group follows. During peak wedding weeks in November and February he catches up on recordings over the weekend. On a trip to Delhi for a vendor meeting, he spent a day in the Shakarpur classroom after a word with his counsellor, at no extra cost.

12 · Opportunity
Software testing jobs & career scope in Udaipur
QA jobs reach Udaipur learners in three ways. Ahmedabad, about four hours away, and Jaipur are growing IT centres, and Gurugram, Pune and Bengaluru recruit Rajasthan graduates for office, hybrid and remote testing roles. Locally, tourism and wedding businesses, travel-tech start-ups, the zinc and marble industries, the Madri industrial area, hospitals, banks and colleges use software that has to be tested. Remote-first companies in India and abroad also hire testers who live in smaller cities. With many engineering and computer colleges in Mewar, freshers who can show working automation, API tests and GitHub projects get shortlisted ahead of others.
Remote and hybrid QA roles
A growing number of Udaipur testers live by the lakes and work for Ahmedabad, Gurugram or overseas companies, going to an office only now and then. Studying in a streamed batch rehearses that life: daily calls on camera, debugging in front of classmates, pull requests that need approval and a timetable you manage alone. Recruiters for distributed teams often look at GitHub before reading a CV, and every lab you complete lives there.
Udaipur freshers usually begin as Software Tester, Test Engineer Trainee or QA Associate. With two to four years of real scripting, Senior Automation and SDET roles become realistic.

These projects come from genuine client briefs and are pushed to GitHub, where a trainer grades each like an exacting Cyberpark QA manager. The questions: is any risk left unexamined, could an alert routed to the wrong parent slip past your suite, can a colleague add tests without untangling yours, is the Jenkins badge green, and can a stranger set it up from the README alone?

SOFTWARE TESTING
AI Bug Report Analyzer
AI-powered tool designed to analyze software bug reports, identify important issue details, and support testers in understanding and organizing defects.
Software quality-focused project designed to support testing activities, identify potential issues, and improve the reliability of development workflows.
Like a palace built storey by storey on the lake shore, the skills rise on the foundation below them.
Learn testing fundamentals
Learn how software is made and checked: SDLC and STLC, the levels of testing and the test categories you will see in job ads.
Master manual test design
Practise on apps you already use — the IRCTC app or a UPI wallet — listing edge values, grouping inputs and tabulating rule combinations, then report each issue in Jira so clearly no one needs to call you.
Learn SQL
Pick up enough SQL to answer your own questions about the data.
Pick one programming language
Choose Python or Java and keep at it until it feels routine; Playwright will bring TypeScript later.
Automate the UI
Script the user journeys where money or availability is at stake, first in Selenium and then in Playwright.
Test and automate APIs
Explore each API manually in Postman before you automate it.
Use AI tools responsibly
Let AI save time, but never commit its output unread.
Build a framework and pipeline
Convert scripts into page objects, store them in version control, trigger them from Jenkins and publish the Allure output.
Publish a portfolio and prepare
Put your repositories in public view, align the CV and LinkedIn with them, and rehearse answers in Hindi or Mewari with friends before doing it in English.
Time required: around six months, about two hours of practice most days.
Is software testing a good career in 2026, with AI?
It is, for anyone who keeps upskilling. Generators can now produce test cases and code in minutes, so roles that are only repetitive manual checking are shrinking. What companies pay for is a feel for risk, restrained automation, careful scrutiny of APIs and system links, maintainable test code and a healthy distrust of AI output, because a double-booked venue or a wrong refund ruins someone's most important day. Quality is still owned by people who understand guests and contracts, so this course teaches manual craft before automation and AI.

17 · Mode
Live online vs classroom — which should a learner in Udaipur choose?
For Udaipur, learning live online is the practical option and you lose nothing important. The class on screen is an actual NCR batch running at that moment, so you can speak up whenever you like. Wedding-season rushes, the Mewar Festival or family functions will not cost you a class, since everything is recorded. Trainers, syllabus, projects, certificate, placement help and the ₹20,650 fee are the same in every mode. A seat in the NCR classroom is only practical if you are living there for a while; changing modes, if seats permit, does not cut the course short.

18 · FAQ
Frequently asked questions
01What is the duration of the Software Testing course in Udaipur?
One wedding season to the next, roughly: six months. That covers over a hundred live sessions and about 165 hours, run as weekday-evening or weekend batches.
02What is the fee for the Software Testing course in Udaipur?
Tuition is ₹17,500 and GST brings it to ₹20,650. Someone joining from Sukher pays the same as a learner seated in Noida, and the amount can be cleared in six monthly instalments of ₹3,442*.
03Is there an Uncodemy centre in Udaipur?
Rajasthan has no Uncodemy classroom. Teaching in person happens only at our Noida (Sector 1) and Delhi (Shakarpur Extension) branches, and Mewar learners attend those very classes through a live link, with nothing changed in faculty, content or fee.
04Can I learn software testing without a coding background?
Yes. MLSU BCom and BA graduates, and people who have spent years in hotels, often start with zero coding. The first four modules contain no programming at all; they teach test thinking, writing cases, working in sprints and SQL, and Module 5 then introduces Python or Java step by step.
05Is manual testing still in demand in 2026?
It is the starting block. Job ads on SG Highway or in Gurugram for QA freshers now nearly always mention Selenium, Playwright or Postman too, so the later modules move into browser automation, coded API tests and working alongside AI.
06Should I learn manual testing or automation testing first?
Begin manually; a script can only repeat what a careful person first designed.
07Which is better to learn: Selenium or Playwright?
Fifteen hours of each. Service companies with long-running client projects still maintain Selenium WebDriver suites, while booking and travel start-ups lean towards Playwright, so knowing both widens your options.
08Does the course include API testing?
Yes, two full modules. In Module 8 you learn REST by sending requests from Postman yourself; in Module 9 you convert them into automated API and integration tests with token-based login. Booking and payment platforms are API-heavy, so interviewers ask about this often.
09Does the course cover Generative AI in software testing?
Yes, across 22 hours. In Module 10 an AI model drafts booking scenarios and fictional families for you to check, and in Module 11 ChatGPT and Copilot assist while you write and debug scripts. You stay responsible for what is correct.
10Will AI replace software testers?
No. AI changes the shape of the job. It can generate a rough test suite very quickly, yet a person who knows families, vendors and contracts must still decide whether a passing test really proves the refund rules and must approve the release.
11Is this course ISTQB certified?
It is an Uncodemy certificate. Modules 1–2 overlap heavily with ISTQB Foundation Level, which a few Ahmedabad employers like, but you book and sit the ISTQB exam separately.
12What is the salary of a software tester in Udaipur?
QA pay in India generally starts near ₹3–5 LPA, rises to ₹4–8 LPA after you learn automation, and SDETs or QE leads earn ₹15–30 LPA. A Madri-based manufacturer and a Gurugram product company will value the same skills differently, so Uncodemy names no figure.
13Can a fresher or non-IT graduate get a software testing job in Udaipur?
Yes. Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Gurugram companies, Udaipur firms and remote teams have taken on freshers with BTech, BCA, BSc and BCom degrees. Selection usually means testing a sample screen, answering SQL questions, explaining how your automation project is laid out and showing your GitHub; we prepare you for each, and the company makes the call.
14What job roles can I apply for after this course?
Search for QA Trainee, Software Test Engineer, Automation Associate or API Tester, and any posting that lists Selenium or Playwright among its skills. SDET titles normally follow after a couple of years.
15Are the classes live or recorded?
All of them. A trainer teaches each session at its scheduled hour and answers questions there and then; recordings are uploaded later.
16Do you provide placement assistance to learners in Udaipur?
Yes, without any difference. The placement team edits CVs and LinkedIn profiles, runs mock interviews, coaches and passes on vacancies from 850+ hiring partners to Udaipur learners just as it does for Noida batches. Employment itself cannot be guaranteed.
17Is a free demo class available before I enrol?
Yes. Book the free online demo to sit in on an actual class and ask the trainer anything. Two trial classes follow under the current offer, and payment is due only if you decide to join.
18Can I attend at the Noida or Delhi branch if I visit NCR?
Yes, where there is room. Because the syllabus is common to every mode, a trip to Delhi can include in-person sessions at Shakarpur or Sector 1; message your counsellor with the dates.
