Questions students ask
When should I apply for a summer internship?
Most companies hire summer interns between January and March for May–July. Big product companies start earlier, often in August–October of the previous year, and their campus processes close fast.
Is an unpaid internship worth it?
Only if the work is real and you can show it: a project you built, a report you wrote, numbers you moved. Avoid "internships" that charge you a fee. A legitimate internship never asks you to pay.
I'm in 1st or 2nd year. Can I get an internship?
Yes, mostly at startups and in remote roles. Your projects matter more than your year. Two solid projects on GitHub or a portfolio beat a perfect CGPA at this stage.
How do I spot a fake internship?
Warning signs: a registration or training fee, an offer without any interview, a personal Gmail address instead of a company domain, or pressure to pay for "certification". Check the company on LinkedIn before sharing documents.
