Aptitude Test: Practise for Placements and Exams

Take a timed test of 15 or 20 questions and learn from the explanations.

  • 🧠 Quant, logical and verbal
  • ⏱️ One minute per question
  • 💡 Explanations for all

How to use the Aptitude Test

  1. 1. Set up your testChoose 15 or 20 questions, and mixed or one section.
  2. 2. Beat the clockYou get one minute per question. Move back and forth as you like.
  3. 3. Review your scoreSee topic-wise marks and an explanation for every question.

What the test covers

Questions are picked at random from a bank of original questions, and a new attempt avoids repeating your last set where it can.

  • Quant: percentages, profit and loss, ratio, averages, time and work, speed and distance, interest, numbers, algebra, probability and clocks.
  • Logical: series, coding, blood relations, directions, syllogisms, analogies, seating arrangement, calendars, cubes and sets.
  • Verbal: synonyms, antonyms, grammar, spelling, idioms, one-word substitutions, reading and sentence order.

How to use your result

The topic-wise table matters more than the total. A single score only tells you where you stand today, while the table tells you what to practise next. Work through the explanations for each question you got wrong, and for any you got right by guessing.

Look at your unanswered questions as well. If you ran out of time, the problem may be speed and not knowledge. Practise learning shortcuts such as percentage fractions, and use the countdown timer to set limits for yourself. There is no negative marking in this test, so answer every question. Real exams may have different rules, so read those carefully.

Preparing for campus placements

Many companies use an aptitude round as an early filter, followed by technical and HR interviews. A sensible plan is to spend most of your time on your weakest section, attempt a timed test each week and keep a notebook of your mistakes. Pick one topic at a time. Trying to learn everything at once rarely works.

This is a practice test made by Uncodemy. It is not an official exam or a prediction of any result. Once you feel ready, move on to the interview question generator and prepare your cover letter. Short study blocks with the Pomodoro timer also help.

Frequently asked questions
