Hashtag Generator: Build Relevant Tags for Your Post

Get a mix of topic, niche, audience and local hashtags.

  • #️⃣ Four platforms
  • 🧭 Topic to local mix
  • 🚫 No fake trend data

How to use the Hashtag Generator

  1. 1. Pick a platformChoose Instagram, LinkedIn, X or YouTube.
  2. 2. Describe your postEnter the topic and niche, and add an audience and city if useful.
  3. 3. Copy your setChoose how many you want, then copy and review them.

How the hashtags are built

The tool combines your own words with platform-style endings using templates. It does not use AI and it has no live data, so it cannot tell you how many posts use a tag or whether a tag is trending. Please be wary of any free tool that claims it can without access to the platform's data.

Every set draws from four groups in turn, so you get a balance:

  • Topic: what this post is about.
  • Niche: the wider subject you cover.
  • Audience: who you want to reach.
  • Local: your city, which helps nearby people find you.

For example, the topic digital marketing, niche career growth, audience freshers and city Delhi on Instagram gives tags like #DigitalMarketing, #CareerGrowth, #FreshersLife and #DelhiCareerGrowth. Each word starts with a capital, which makes tags easier to read and helps screen readers say them correctly.

Using hashtags well

Hashtags help people and the platform understand your post. They do not replace a good post. A few habits help:

  • Open each tag on the platform and look at the recent posts. If they do not match your content, drop the tag.
  • Prefer a few highly relevant tags over a long list.
  • Keep them short and avoid spaces, punctuation and all-number tags, which do not work as hashtags.
  • Check the platform's current rules, because limits and advice change.

You can set anywhere from 3 to 30 tags here, but that is only a range for the tool and not advice to use them all. On LinkedIn and X, posts usually read better with just a few.

Frequently asked questions

Are these trending hashtags?

We cannot say, because the tool has no live data. It builds relevant tags from your words. Check each one on the platform before you post.

How many hashtags should I use?

Fewer relevant tags usually beat a long list, and platform limits change. Check the current rule on your platform.

Does it use AI?

No. It uses templates and your own inputs, and runs in your browser.

Is this tool free?

Yes, it is free. We ask for your name and WhatsApp number once when you see your result, and other Uncodemy tools then open without the form.
