What each tag does
- Title is the clickable headline in search results and the name on the browser tab.
- Meta description is the summary that may appear below the title. It does not directly change rankings, but a clear one can earn more clicks.
- Canonical tells search engines which URL is the main version of a page.
- Open Graph tags control the card shown when your link is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.
- Twitter tags do the same on X.
Here is a sample of the output:
<title>Python Course in Noida | Uncodemy</title>
<meta name="description" content="Learn Python...">
<meta property="og:title" content="Python Course...">All quotes and symbols in your text are escaped for you, so a double quote in your title will not break the page.
Writing tags people click
A common guideline is 50 to 60 characters for a title and 120 to 160 for a description. These are not hard limits. Google cuts text by pixel width and sometimes rewrites it, so the preview here is only a close guide.
- Put the main keyword near the start of the title.
- Write a unique title and description for every page.
- Make the description a real reason to click, in plain language.
- Use a share image of about 1200 × 630 pixels.
This tool only writes the code. It does not fetch or change your live page, and it runs in your browser. Paste the tags inside <head>, then test your link by sharing it.
Writing the page itself? Use the keyword density checker to catch overused words. Choosing a brand colour for the share image? Try the HEX to RGB converter.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I paste these tags?
Inside the head section of your page's HTML. On WordPress, use your SEO plugin's fields for the same values.
Why does Google show a different title?
Google may rewrite titles and descriptions when it thinks another version fits the search better. Clear, accurate tags make this less likely.
Do meta tags alone improve ranking?
The title is an important signal, but no tag can replace useful content. Good tags mostly help people understand and click your result.
Is this tool free?
Yes, it is free. We ask for your name and WhatsApp number once when you see your result, and other Uncodemy tools then open without the form.
