Drag the picture to position it. For photos, keep your face filling most of the frame.

Questions applicants ask
The portal says my file is too big even though it shows 49 KB on my phone. Why?
Some portals count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes and some as 1,024. A file that reads 49 KB on your phone can be 50.2 KB to the portal. This tool keeps a margin on both ends so the file passes either way.
Do I still need to upload a photo for SSC exams?
For SSC CGL 2026 and other recent SSC forms, the photo is captured live through your webcam or the official mobile app during the application. You only upload the signature, 10–20 KB. Check your specific notification.
My signature looks grey and dirty after scanning. What do I do?
Sign with a black or dark blue pen on plain white paper, photograph it in daylight, and keep "Clean up paper background" switched on. It turns the paper pure white and darkens the ink.
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. The resizing happens inside your browser. You enter your name and WhatsApp number once to download the file, and that form never includes your photo.
The upload still fails. What else can be wrong?
Check the format (most portals accept only JPG/JPEG), the pixel dimensions, and the background colour. Some portals also reject a photo older than a few months or one with glasses that show glare.
