What is Software Testing?
Testing means proving, with evidence, that an app does what customers and the business rely on. In a chit-fund app a tester checks that no bid exceeds the legal maximum discount, the foreman's commission is correct, the dividend is shared equally among non-prized members, defaulters cannot bid, and the app copes when hundreds bid at once. Every check follows a loop: rank the risks, write repeatable cases, run them manually or by script, report failures with evidence and retest.
