How merging works here
Your browser opens each PDF and copies its pages into a brand new document, in the order shown in the list. The pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable, links in the page content stay, and image quality does not change. Nothing is sent to a server, which matters when the files are bank statements, ID proofs or marksheets.
The file list shows every PDF with its size. Move a file with the arrow buttons, or remove it with the cross. These buttons work from the keyboard too, so you do not need to drag anything.
When to use it, and what it cannot do
- Job applications. Join your resume, certificates and experience letters into a single attachment.
- Form submissions. Many portals accept only one file for all your supporting documents.
- Reports. Combine a cover page, the main report and annexures.
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged, so unlock them first. Bookmarks and form fields may not carry over the way they looked in the originals. Pages keep their own size, so an A4 page and a Letter page can sit in the same file. If the merged file is too big for a portal, run it through the PDF compressor. Have photos instead of PDFs? Use Image to PDF first, then merge.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge happens inside your browser, so your files stay on your device and are never sent to Uncodemy or anyone else.
Is Merge PDF free?
Yes. The tool is free. We ask for your name and WhatsApp number once when your result is ready, and after that other Uncodemy tools open without the form.
Can I merge a password-protected PDF?
No. You will see a clear message naming the locked file. Remove the password in a PDF reader you trust, then add it again.
Will merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, without being re-rendered, so text and images look the same as in the originals.
