Good for documents photographed on a phone
Most people reach for this tool after photographing a marksheet, a signed form or a set of handwritten notes. Add the photos, put them in the right order with the arrow buttons, and each one becomes a page.
Sideways phone photos are handled for you: the browser reads the rotation stored in the photo, and Auto orientation gives wide photos a landscape page and tall photos a portrait page. If you would rather have all pages the same way, choose Portrait or Landscape.
A4 with a small margin looks like a scanned document. Same as image makes every page exactly the size of the photo, with no white border.
Tips for a smaller, sharper PDF
- Photograph in daylight, straight above the page, to avoid shadows and slanted text.
- Choose Medium image quality when a portal has a size limit.
- Very large photos are scaled to 4000 pixels on the long side to keep the file sensible.
Images are stored inside the PDF as pictures, so the words are not selectable. To pull text out of a photo, use Image to Text. PNG or WEBP files? The Image to PDF tool accepts those. To go the other way, use PDF to JPG, and if the result is too big, try Compress PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Do my photos get uploaded?
No. The PDF is built inside your browser, so your photos stay on your device.
How many photos can I add?
Up to 50 at a time, each up to 40 MB. A phone with little free memory may struggle with very large batches.
Is it free to use?
Yes. It is free, and we ask for your name and WhatsApp number once when your PDF is ready. Other Uncodemy tools then open without the form.
Why is my PDF large?
Photos hold a lot of detail. Choose Medium image quality, or use the image compressor before you convert.
