Agile Tracking, Scrum Meeting and Daily Stand-ups

Agile Tracking

Agile tracking is the practice of continuously measuring and visualizing progress—through burndown/burnup charts, task boards, and velocity metrics—so that the team and stakeholders always have an accurate, up-to-date picture of status.

Scrum Meetings (Ceremonies)

Scrum's cadence of meetings—Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective—forms a regular rhythm of inspection and adaptation that keeps the whole team aligned throughout the Sprint.

Daily Stand-ups

The "stand-up" nickname for the Daily Scrum comes from the practice of literally standing during the meeting, which naturally encourages people to keep it brief. Each person shares progress and blockers, keeping the meeting time-boxed to 15 minutes regardless of team size.

Why This Combination Works

Frequent, lightweight tracking combined with short daily check-ins catches problems within a day instead of within a sprint, dramatically reducing the cost of course correction.
