Installing Selenium IDE
Installation Steps
- Open the extension store for your browser (Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons).
- Search for "Selenium IDE" and click Install/Add to Browser.
- Once installed, an icon appears in the browser toolbar to launch the IDE.
First Steps After Installing
Open Selenium IDE, create a new project, and click the record button to start capturing actions as you interact with a web page — a quick way to see how the tool captures commands before writing any code.
