A Workflow in JIRA is the set of statuses and transitions that an issue moves through from creation to completion, such as To Do → In Progress → In Review → Done.

Key Components

• Statuses: the stages an issue can be in.
• Transitions: the allowed moves between statuses (e.g., "Start Progress" moves an issue from To Do to In Progress).
• Conditions, validators, and post-functions: rules that control who can transition an issue and what happens automatically when they do.
