Event 4: Sprint Review

Purpose

Held at the end of the Sprint, the Sprint Review is an informal working session where the Scrum Team and stakeholders inspect the increment and discuss what to do next.

What Happens

  • The Development Team demonstrates the "Done" work.
  • Stakeholders provide feedback, ask questions, and discuss what they saw.
  • The Product Backlog is reviewed and adjusted based on the feedback and any changes in the market or business needs.
  • The group discusses budget, timeline, and likely capabilities for the next release.

Outcome

A revised Product Backlog that reflects current priorities, typically time-boxed to about one hour per week of Sprint length.
