What is the Detail View?

The Detail View is the single-issue page showing everything about that issue: summary, description, status, comments, attachments, linked issues, and full history.

Why Testers Rely On It

• Reviewing the complete context of a bug before starting verification.
• Reading through developer comments to understand a fix before retesting.
• Checking the workflow history to confirm when and by whom the status was last changed.

Split View

Many JIRA boards also offer a split-screen detail panel, letting users click through a list of issues on the left while viewing full details on the right without leaving the list.
