Subscribing to a Filter

JIRA allows users to subscribe to a saved filter so its results are emailed automatically on a schedule—for example, every weekday morning.

How to Set It Up

• Open a saved filter and choose "Details" then "Subscribe."
• Select the recipients (yourself, a group, or a project role).
• Choose the frequency, such as daily or weekly.

Why It's Useful

Email subscriptions keep stakeholders informed without requiring them to log into JIRA—useful for daily summaries of open bugs or issues nearing their due date.
